So, it\u2019s cheap and healthy,\u201d said President Director of Medco Power Indonesia, Fazil Erwin Alfitri, about the participation of Medco Power Indonesia in Samosir Ultra Marathon 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On September 23rd, the next day after attending the inauguration of library \u2018Sopo Malo Medco\u2019 in Lumban Gaol village, district Northern Tapanuli, near Sarulla Geothermal Power Plant 330 MW that operated by Medco Power Indonesia, 25 employees of Medco Power Indonesia, including President Director, Fazil Erwin Alfitri, participated in Samosir Lake Toba 2017, Lake Toba, North Sumatera. The most Prestigious Ultra Marathon Indonesia and part of Wonderful Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Runners from Medco Power Indonesia participated in three categories: 5K, 10K and 25K. They run their lives on Samosir Island, one of the most beautiful places in Indonesia. Because Lake Toba and Samosir Island are located in the high elevation area, it becomes one pack race in the montain and beach area. They run around the largest caldera of Lake Toba, passing through the traditional villages and of course the incredibly beautiful landscape of Lake Toba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The runs are really heavy but exciting. The scenery is really good. This one of the best running, because the scenery really make us forget the heat and our exhaustion. Maybe next year we will come back here. I think it’s a must,\u201d said Fazil Erwin Alfitri, who participated in 25K race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thanks to their hard work and earnestness, all runners from Medco Power Indonesia successfully completed the race well. They compete with 1500 other participants, including 100 international athletes who are the best runners in the world. An achievement to be proud of.<\/p>\n
