As part of its commitment to strengthening community resilience in facing disaster, PT Medco Power Indonesia, through its subsidiary, PT Medco Ratch Power Riau (MRPR), has distributed emergency response aid to the Disaster Response Post in the Tenayan Industrial Village.
The aid are expected to support operations and services during the emergency response following severe flooding in the area. The assistance provided includes logistic supplies, food, and emergency health equipment.

The aid was handed over by Murtala Ade, Officer of External Relations at MRPR, to MS Chandra, Lurah Industri Tenayan, and Mira Susmitha, SKM, Kepala Puskesmas Rejosari.
I Made Budiarta, General Manager of MRPR emphasized the company’s role in supporting the surrounding community. “As part of the community, we find it important to be present and support the people during difficult times like these. This aid is very meaningful for us in providing health services to residents affected by the flood. The flood that struck Kecamatan Tenayan Raya, including Desa Industri Tenayan, was triggered by heavy rainfall. Continuous rainfall has caused rivers to overflow and flooding in several residential areas. This situation disrupts residents’ activities and prompts a swift response from various parties, including support from the private sector.
This assistance is not only intended as a response to the flood disaster currently affecting the area but also aims to strengthen community resilience in the long term. MRPR hopes that this support will help the community face emergencies more prepared and resilient.
