PT Medco Power Indonesia, through its subsidiary PT TJB Power Services (TJBPS), has once again secured the Proper Gold award for the sixth consecutive year, an achievement first attained in 2019 presented by the Ministry of Environment (KLH).
The Proper Gold award is the highest recognition for companies that surpass environmental compliance standards (“Beyond Compliance”). The assessment criteria include regulatory compliance, implementation of best practices in environmental management, and attention to broad environmental issues.
The 2025 award ceremony was held in Jakarta on Monday, February 24, 2025, attended by the Minister of Environment and Head of the Environmental Management Agency. PLN UIK TJB, as the Asset Manager for TJB Units 1 – 4, also received the award.
PT TJBPS, as the O&M company managing the TJB Units 1&2 Power Plant, plays a vital role in this achievement. Together with PT PLN (Persero) UIK TJB, TJBPS ensures that environmental management at the power plant facilities meets standards for energy efficiency and environmental impact reduction.
“This success is the result of the commitment and hard work of all parties involved,” said President Director of PT TJBPS, Imron Gazali. He added that this award reinforces Medco Power Indonesia’s reputation as a company focused on business sustainability, social responsibility, and environmental stewardship.
