As part of its ongoing commitment to creating a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment, PT Medco Power, through its subsidiary PT Energi Listrik Batam (ELB), organized an Education and Partnership Signing Event on HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis (TB) Prevention with Yayasan Lintas Nusa. The event was held at ELB’s warehouse facility in Batam.
This collaboration supports the implementation of two key national regulations: Minister of Manpower and Transmigration Decree No. 68/2004 on HIV/AIDS prevention and Minister of Manpower Regulation No. 13/2022 on TB control in the workplace. Through this partnership, ELB and Yayasan Lintas Nusa will implement ongoing initiatives including regular educational sessions, health screenings, contact tracing, and treatment support for affected workers.

Beyond ceremonial, the event also featured an interactive education session. The participants engaged participants with questions on various topics, including government roles, stigma reduction, and the potential rollout of mass TB vaccinations.
