Two of PT Medco Power Indonesia’s subsidiaries, Mitra Energi Batam (MEB) and Sarulla Operation LTD (SOL) win the award at Best Electricity Award (IBEA) 2017. On the awarding and ceremony night of IBEA 2017, which took place on November 23, at Bidakara Hotel, MEB was awarded as The Best Power Plant 10 – 100 MW category. Meanwhile, SOL was awarded as The Best New Comer Power Plant Company category.
In that event, Medco Power Indonesia and Mitra Energi Batam were qualified as the top five finalists in The Best Power Plant Company category and Tanjung Jati B Power Services, one of MPI’s subsidiary, also made it the top five finalists in The Best O&M Company category.
This achievement is a result of the hard work of MPI group which has given its best ability, from elimination to the final round, to pass the assessment process by the IBEA 2017 Judge Committee. The judge committee itself consist of 17 members from various disciplines and professions such as electrical experts, academics, observers, journalists, to politicians who are qualified in the field.
It is also proofing MPI’s commitment to continue its vision of leading energy company in Power Project Energy Infrastructure which constantly develops clean and renewable energy resources to convert them into power. Which up to now we actualize by making electricity supply more available to Indonesia people by positioning ourselves to become an Independent Power Producer (IPP), as well as Operation & Maintenance Services (O&M).
The event has given a lively and memorable feel to exhibitors and finalists. Because the finalists of IBEA 2017 provide the best ability with the support of their respective supporters to pass the assessment process by the judges of IBEA 2017 which total of 17 members, coming from various disciplines and professions such as electrical experts, academics, observers, journalists, to a qualified politician in his field.
