Medco Power, through PT Medco Cahaya Geothermal, participated in the 11th Indonesia International Geothermal Convention & Exhibition (IIGCE 2025), held on September 17–19, 2025 at JCC Senayan, Jakarta. The annual event, the largest for Indonesia’s geothermal industry players, showcased exhibitions and discussions on the future of sustainable energy.
Medco Power, through PT Medco Cahaya Geothermal, participated in the 11th Indonesia International Geothermal Convention & Exhibition (IIGCE 2025), held on September 17–19, 2025 at JCC Senayan, Jakarta. The annual event, the largest for Indonesia’s geothermal industry players, showcased exhibitions and discussions on the future of sustainable energy.
The event also featured live broadcast from several geothermal projects, including the Bonjol geothermal project, where PT Medco Geothermal Sumatra has been conducting exploration of the BNJ-1 well since mid August 2025. Minister Bahlil personally greeted the Bonjol project team and expressed his appreciation for their contributions to realizing geothermal development.
On the second day, Femi Sastrena, Chief Business Development Officer of Medco Power, joined as a panelist in the plenary session titled “Sustainable Geothermal Energy: Driving the Future, Development Beyond Electricity.” In his remarks, Femi highlighted Indonesia’s geothermal potential and the importance of collaboration between the government and the private sector to further geothermal development.
Medco Power’s presence at IIGCE 2025 underscores the company’s commitment to Indonesia’s energy transformation and reinforces its tangible contributions to achieving Net Zero Emissions through the utilization of sustainable geothermal energy.
