As part of Medco Power’s Transformation Program series, the Board of Directors and senior leaders participated in a Culture Workshop last October.
The workshop featured Ahmad Yuniarto, BCG Senior Advisor, as the facilitator, who shared in-depth perspectives on Transformative Leadership and its role in strengthening organizational performance.
This initiative follows the result of the recent culture survey and offers a new perspective on leadership culture, that goes beyond the cognitive aspects of work to also address the emotional aspects and individual dynamics within the organization.
The session opened with a reflective activity using LEGO Serious Play, where participants, worked in groups to represent their perceptions of the company, current situation, and the ongoing transformation journey. The outcome of this activity was the determination of priority initiatives by each group. This event served as a joint learning platform to align perceptions, understand challenges in the field, and train collaborative decision-making skills.

The core of the workshop highlighted the Transformative Leadership Model, which emphasizes four dimensions of leadership:
1. Personal Influencing
2. Inspiring and Motivating
3. Stimulating Intellectually
4. Respecting and Considering Individual
By reinforcing the values and behaviors of transformative leadership, Medco Power expects to drive sustainable performance and ensure the success of the transformation across all organizational lines.
