Batam, 18 July 2024 – PT Medco Power Indonesia, through its subsidiary PT Mitra Energi Batam (MEB), successfully conducted a four-day “Employee Teaching” program from 15 July to 18, 2024, in Batam. This program is part of MEB’s broader social and environmental responsibility efforts to support educational development in communities surrounding their operational areas.
The event took place at 18 High School in Tembesi, Sagulung, Batam, where over 350 students participated in the School Environment Introduction Period. The program covered various topics, including safety protocols, fire extinguisher use, power plant operations, first aid techniques, HIV/AIDS awareness, and anti-bullying measures.
MEB Employees engaged directly with students through interactive simulations and hands-on demonstrations. These activities included practical sessions on using a light fire extinguisher and providing first aid for burns, making the learning experience informative and engaging.
