To strengthen strategic partnership and drive sustainable operation, Medco Power Indonesia held Vendor Day 2026 at The Energy Building, Jakarta last April. Attended by more than 100 business partners, the event served as a collaborative platform with business partners to foster a more open, transparent and growth-oriented partnership.
President Director & CEO of PT Medco Power Indonesia, Bapak Eka Satria, highlighted the critical role of vendors as strategic partners in supporting the successful delivery of projects and operations.
“Through this event, we aim to build aligned understanding while creating a more open and constructive space for collaboration. We believe that strong partnerships are an important foundation in supporting reliable operational performance and strong, sustainable financial performance,” he stated.
During the first session, panelists from Medco Power presented various company policies and procedures covering Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), business sustainability, business ethics & compliance, as well as social media guidelines. The session was followed by a panel discussion and interactive session with business partners.

In the second session, company panelists presented the procure-to-pay process, covering the procurement supply chain, financial processes including recording and payment procedures, as well as various business process improvements implemented to accelerate the overall procure-to-pay cycle.
On the same occasion, Medco Power also shared business updates regarding the company’s operations and future project plans, with business development focused on a clean and sustainable energy portfolio.
Several strategic initiatives presented included the development of new power plant projects and the optimization of existing assets, including projects currently being developed in various regions such as Batam, Ijen, Bonjol (West Sumatra), and Samosir (North Sumatra).
In line with the company’s expansion plans, Medco Power emphasized the importance of the readiness and capabilities of business partners in supporting project implementation effectively, competitively, and in accordance with company standards.
During the event, Medco Power also communicated the company’s five main targets to its business partners, namely:
1. Zero incidents and workplace accidents
2. Environmental responsibility and local community empowerment
3. Good governance and compliance with business ethics
4. Shared growth and profitability, and
5. Timeliness, quality, and competitive pricing in the procurement of goods and services
Through this alignment of vision, it is expected that the collaboration between Medco Power and its business partners will become even stronger in supporting the company’s future growth target.
